PURPOSE:To prevent a hole from being generated at a welded part due to long-time printing, by conducting ultrasonic welding by applying a synthetic resin to the tip of an ultrasonic welder and or the surface of a welding jig located on the lower side of an ink ribbon. CONSTITUTION:An epoxy resin 2 is applied to the surface of a welding jig 5 located on the lower side of an ink ribbon 1, and the resin 2 is similarly applied also to the tip of a welding born 4 of an ultrasonic welder. Both end parts of the ink ribbon 1 are placed on the welding jig 5, and ultrasonic welding is applied thereto from above, thereby forming a loop form ink ribbon. This makes it possible to prevent a hole from being generated at the welded part of the ink ribbon or in the vicinity of the welded part, without spoiling printing quality. |
