PURPOSE:To provide format characteristics wherein a component of specified frequency is emphasized at all times by varying and controlling the amplitude level of a component wave signal by degrees according to musical scale data and format data. CONSTITUTION:Since wave generators 14-1-n generate sine waves of independent frequencies with independent envelopes according to harmonic tone data which is set and inputted by a user through a data input device 2. A format data memory 3 is stored with the format data which are set by the device 2 and those data are converted in the respective generators 14 into amplitude data depending upon assigned frequencies, thereby controlling the amplitudes of the sine waves. Then the respective sine wave data are supplied to an adder 15. Consequently, a musical sound of desired format characteristics having the peak at a specific frequency is synthesized. |
