PURPOSE:To prevent water drips from splashing out of a main body case by a method wherein dew receiving plates having upper portions more widely spaced apart from a rear suction port than that of lower portions are arranged between a heat exchanger within the main body case and the lower portions of a rear surface suction port, and lower ends of the dew receiving plates are arranged substantially at the same height as that of the lower end of the rear suction port. CONSTITUTION:Water drips of drain water dripped from a sub-drain pan 8 are blown off rearwardly by an air speed of an air flow passing below a heat exchanger 6 and carried to a rear surface panel 1a. The water drips strike against a dew receiving plates 12, drop onto the drain pan 9 positioned below it and then are discharged to a proper location out of the main body case 1. Thus, it is possible to prevent a floor surface on which the main body case 1 is mounted from being wetted and fully wetted with water. Since the dew receiving plates 12 are arranged such that their upper portions are spaced apart widely from a rear surface suction port 3 than their lower portions, the air stream struck against the dew receiving plates 12 is guided smoothly to the rear lower portion of the heat exchanger 6 and then the air sucked from both suction ports 2 and 3 is guided to the heat exchanger 6 without having any trouble. |
