PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance and to prevent the generation of pitting corrosion by providing both a first layer consisting of epoxy/phenol resin-base coating and a second layer consisting of vinyl/organosol-base coating on the inner surface of a mounting cap. CONSTITUTION:A first resin protective coating layer which consists of epoxy/ phenol-base coating and has 1-8mum dry film thickness is provided on the inner layer of a mounting cap made of steel for an aerosol vessel. Then vinyl/ organosol-base coating is applied on the first layer and a second resin protective coating layer which has glass transition temp. not lower than 50 deg.C and 3-20mum dry film thickness is provided and thereby the mounting cap for the aerosol vessel is obtained. As the aerosol vessel provided with the mounting cap, any of the aerosol vessel made of steel, aluminum alloy and synthetic resin, etc., may be used. |
