PURPOSE:To produce various kinds of discharge lamp lighting devices with different specifications at a low cost by choosing one from the second wiring units and wiring it with one of the first wiring plate units commonly used in accordance with the combination of the number of discharge lamps and their wattage. CONSTITUTION:The capacity of the first wiring plate unit A is so set as to be equal to the maximum wattage out of all combinations of discharge lamps to be used and their wattage. The second wiring plate units B (B1, B2, etc.,) are respectively formed in a unit depending on combinations of discharge lamps to be used and their wattage as far as their total capacity does not exceed that of the first wiring plate unit A. With this arrangement, it is possible to produce a discharge lamp lighting device in accordance with the specifications of the discharge lamps to be used by only choosing the second wiring plate units B appropriate to the specifications of the discharge lamps to be used, and connecting it to the wiring plate unit A. |
