A system for the pneumatic feeding of tobacco from a plurality of chargers via tubular lines to a plurality of processing machines, especially cigarette-making machines, has at least one intermediate station which is provided on the inlet side with tubular line connections for the tubular lines from the chargers and on the outlet side with tubular line connections for the tubular lines to the processing machines; the tubular line connections on the inlet side and the tubular line connections on the outlet side of the intermediate station can be connected to each other by rigid pipe sections and/or flexible hose sections, so that conversion of the various connections can be carried out simply, rapidly and clearly and in a functionally and relationally reliable manner.
