PURPOSE:To reuse excessive energy after dimming operation for a charge/ discharge condensor by providing a bypass circuit for a flash lamp, a switch element, and a rectifier connected with a charge/discharge condensor. CONSTITUTION:Gate turn-off thyristors GTO1, GTO2 are provided at positive and negative electrodes of a charge and discharge capacitor C1 which are con nected serially with a flash lamp FL and wave rectifying inductance L. An anti-block three terminal thyristor SCR1 are provided parallel with the flash lamp FL to form a bypass. Rectifiers D1, D2 are provided being connected with the capacitor C1, the positive and negative electrodes, and the thyristors GTO2, GTO1. Energy remaining in the inductor L and capacitor C1 are reused by the operation of the circuit thus composed for the capacitor C1 after neces sary illumination is done and dimmed. |
