摘要 PURPOSE:To improve control accuracy by computing the heat generating rate in every crank angle based on a cylinder pressure, computing the heat generation center based on said heat generating rate, and setting the ignition timing so that the heat generation center is positioned in a fixed crank angle. CONSTITUTION:Based on the detection signal of a crank angle detecting means 28, a control unit 16 calculates the engine speed by a means 29, the basic ignition timing by a means 20, and the basic fuel injection quantity by means 21. It also judges the driving condition by a means 22 based on the detection signal of an air flow meter 9. When no change is found in the driving condition, then, the target heat generation center is calculated by a means 23. The heat generation quantity in every crank angle is calculated by a means 24 based on the detecting signal of a cylinder pressure sensor 17. Further, the heat generation center is calculated by means 25 based on the output of the means 24. Further, the basic ignition timing is corrected by a means 27 based on the correction factor calculated by a means 26.
