PURPOSE:To lighten the shift shock by controlling the pressure in the back pressure chamber of an accumulator on the basis of the output of a sensor for detecting the revolution speed which varies in the selection of shift valves. CONSTITUTION:In case of up-shift in the first speed second speed, the revolution speed on the input side varies on the start of engagement of the second brake B2 by the selection of a shift valve 60, and said variation is detected by a sensor 45, and a control part C properly adjusts the control pressure by controlling a pressure adjusting valve S4 on the basis of the detection, and the hydraulic pressure which is properly adjusted through a control valve 72 is supplied into the back pressure chamber 71a of an accumulator 71. Therefore, the hydraulic pressure of the brake B2 smoothly varies, and also the output torque smoothly varies. In the selection of other shift valves 61 and 62, each hydraulic pressure in the back pressure chambers 69a and 70a of the accumulator is adjusted according to the revolution speed detected by the sensor 45. Thus, the shift shock can be lightened. |
