PURPOSE:To enable an air cleaner main body to be rapidly actuated by sensing sound made by a person and the sound of a lighter and controlling the motion of the air cleaner main body with a output thereof in automatic operation of the main body due to a gas sensor. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner main body 1 equipped with a filter and a blower is fitted with a gas sensor 2 and a microphone 3. The output of the gas sensor 2 is given to a discrimination circuit 4 and thereby it is discriminated whether the main body 1 is actuated or not. The microphone 3 senses the sound made by a person and the sound of the lighter and the discrimination reference of the discrimination circuit 4 is changed by the output thereof. Therefore when a person is present in a room or smokes tobacco, the main body body 1 can be rapidly actuated before the room is filled with the smoke of tobacoo. |
