PURPOSE:To simply execute the positioning of an optical function element and optical fibers with high accuracy by mutually fixing the optical function element and the optical fibers to which lens working is applied at least on its leading end part by means of an external supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The external supporting body 21 is constituted of sealing a solidifying material such as a bonding agent between two parallel bases and forming guide parts 21d, 21e for fixing optical fibers 23-25 and a groove part 21f for fixing a wavelength filter 22 in the solidifying material. The guide parts 21d, 21e are formed like holes along the prescribed arranging positions of the optical fibers and the groove part 21f is formed with a fixed width from the outside face of an upper base to the inside face of a lower base so as to cross the branching part of the two guide parts 21d, 21e. Consequently, mutual positional relation between the optical fibers 23-25 and the optical function element 22 can be surely fixed only by inserting the optical fibers 23-25 and the element 22 simply into the guide parts 21d, 21e and the groove part 21f of the external supporting body 21. |
