PURPOSE:To obtain open cords having slight residual twist, by winding the cords leaving a winding bobbin rotate in the direction of removing twist in a manufacturing process of open cords with a double twister at a large overtwist ratio. CONSTITUTION:A ratio of rotation number of an overtwister 17 to said number of double twister 12 is made larger than a ratio of a usual cord (shaped fraction is almost 100%) and thus voids between yarn stocks in an outside layer of an open cord to be penetrated by rubber in a tire molding process. In said process, a winding bobbin 13 for cords is made capable of rotating at cord 21 as an axis. To perform the above, for example, a fixing frame 22 of the bobbin 13 is supported to a machine frame through bearings 24. |
