PURPOSE:To perform printing output by reading the status of every kind set in order to control a printing mode from a memory, by setting the prohibition of printing operation by a change-over means in the printing mode and operating a status printing key in this state. CONSTITUTION:When a printing mode is set by a mode switch 13, an OFF-line state is obtained at first. In order to start printing operation in this state, it is necessary to set an ON-line state by operating an ON-line key 4b. When a status printing key 4d is operated in the OFF-line state, the status of every kind in the printing mode set to an RAM 2 is read to be subjected to printing output. By this method, a report having the content of the status of every kind printed thereon is issued. Therefore, when it is desired to confirm a data printing form prior to starting printing operation, said confirmation can be performed by simple operation for operating only the status printing key 4d in the printing mode. |
