PURPOSE:To manufacture a plastic magnet having preferable magnetic properties in less number of steps by plastically deforming an alloy ingot containing R, Fe and B as indispensable ingredients, then pulverizing it, mixing the obtained powder with synthetic resin as a mixture, and press-molding the mixture in a magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:After an alloy ingot containing rare earth element, iron and boron as indispensable ingredients is plastically deformed, it is pulverized, the contained powder is mixed with synthetic resin as a mixture, and the mixture is press-molded in a magnetic field to manufacture a plastic magnet. This alloy ingot contains 0.3-3.0wt.% of at least one element selected from a group of zinc, chromium and silicon. Further, the alloy ingot further contains 0.2-0.3wt.% of at least one type selected from a group of aluminum and gallium. The plastic magnet having preferable magnetic properties is manufactured in less number of steps by omitting pressing, such as cold-hot pressing by a melted metal quick cooling method. |
