PURPOSE:To express a medium contrast by easily forming a dummy dot and to process a video signal by supplying the same to an image processor, by stepwise changing the video signal or a bias of a comparing level at a predetermined cycle and reading the video signal from a memory in predetermined timing and forming the synchronous signal thereof. CONSTITUTION:The cycle signal from a dot generating block 100 is supplied to an adder 3 and a step signal is supplied to a comparator 16. The output of the comparator 16 is supplied to a memory 31 and the pixel clock signal from a clock oscillation circuit 5 is supplied to a memory control circuit 32 and an address signal is supplied to the memory 31 to store the data from the comparator 16. At a desired time, the content of the memory 31 is read at a low speed on the basis of the signal from a control circuit 32 to be outputted to the data terminal 34 connected to a word processor and a start signal, a synchronous signal and a line feed signal are formed in a control circuit 32 to be outputted to the terminal 35 connected to the word processor. |
