<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the manufacturing process of the title footwear, improve production efficiency and to enhance wearing comfort of the footwear by folding over a soft member to form a layered sheet, cutting to prescribed shape to form the instep member with the fold over part facing the heel of the footwear fitted in the prescribed position of the footwear. CONSTITUTION:A material in the form of a sheet is folded in two, and a double- layer material (20) which is a layer material of a specified width, is made. At this point a line (20A) is the folded back portion. A specified cutting tool is depressed on the double layer material (20), the folded material is cut in one stroke, and thus the material for the instep (22) is made. The places where sewing is necessary on the instep (22) member are sewn by machine. The material for the instep (22) is fixed so that the folded line (20A) is placed on the opposite side of the footwear toes, and the footwear (26) is thus completed. Since the clearance between the surface of the material and the reverse is glued, it is unnecessary for the folded line to be sewn by machine. It is thus possible to simplify and shorten the manufacturing process.</p> |
