The foldable scaffolding includes a platform (1) with hinged legs and a body guard. The legs are movable between a deployed position and a collapsed position in which they are roughly parallel to the platform. The body guard (13) is folded down and is mechanically connected to at least one of the legs so that it is deployed and collapsed at the same time as the legs. The body-guard has an upright (14) attached to one of the legs and another upright (15) both at the platform ends, joined by hinged horizontal bars (20), forming a barrier. The legs are locked in position by a locking rod (10) hinged to the legs and latched to the platform. USE - For domestic or professional painting.
