发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PREVENTING STRESS CORROSION CRACKING AND HYDROGEN EMBRITTLEMENT OF METALLIC MEMBER
摘要 PURPOSE:To simultaneously prevent the stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen embrittlement of an alloy member by keeping the phase boundary potential of the corrosion-resistant alloy member in the corrosive environment in a specified range. CONSTITUTION:The primary cooling water pipeline and main steam pipeline for the boiler of an atomic reactor are produced from a corrosion-resistant alloy such as SUS 304 stainless steel, SUS 316 stainless steel, and 'Inconel 600(R)'. When the metallic member is used in the corrosive environment, the phase boundary potential of the metallic member is controlled to -100--800 mVSHE in the case of SUS 304 and to 0--500mVSHE in the case of Inconel. Furthermore, the potential is made baser than the potential at which stress corrosion cracking is not caused and nobler than the potential at which hydro gen embrittlement is not caused. As a result, the stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen embrittlement of the corrosion-resistant alloy member are prevented.
