摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To smoothly perform engagement of a clutch, and increase its service life by controlling engine throttle based on actuation conditions of the clutch, a transmission, an acceleration pedal, etc., and keeping an engine at idle speed in a specified mode. CONSTITUTION: An engine 10 is connected through a clutch 14 to a transmission 12. A clutch pedal 16 is connected to the clutch 14, and a gear shifter 18 is connected to the transmission 12. An output signal from an acceleration pedal 22 is inputted to a control system 20 with output signals from plural speed sensors 26, 28 and a neutral switch 32. In this case, when a car speed is lower than a specified lowest value, with the transmission at a gear position, and with the clutch 14 in a released condition, a throttle actuator 24 is kept in a specified mode. That is, the engine 10 is controlled to keep a constant idle speed.</p>
