PURPOSE: To form an electric circuit element by scanning a main body's surface of a superconductive ceramic material with a radial beam of the energy density which permanently destroys superconductive characteristics of the material, and diffusing non-superconductive areas in a superconductive area. CONSTITUTION: A converged laser beam 3 is made to trace a spiral route 5 on a cylinder 1 of a superconductive ceramic material. The energy density, focus size and tracing speed of the laser beam 3 are so selected that the temperature of the superconductive ceramic material of the cylinder 1 along the spiral route 5 rises up to a value of non-superconductivity, to make a spiral superconductive material remain. Shifting from a superconductive condition to a non-superconductive condition is performed by applying injection of cooling inert gas to the surface of the cylinder 1 just behind a focus 2 of the laser beam 3, etc. As a result, a useful electric circuit element such as a solenoid is formed. |
