For slider-chest organs, in which, below the wind chest (1) of the organ, a wind box (4) with valve openings (5) designed in a wall (3) separating the wind chest (1) from the wind box (4) is arranged, a sound valve (7) is proposed, containing a closure element which is formed according to the invention by an upper plate (12) of an impact bellows (6) itself. The inner space (10) of the impact bellows (6) can, via a three-way valve (8) actuated by an operating magnet (23), be connected alternately either to the surrounding atmosphere or to a compressed-air source (superatmospheric pressure). The three-way valve (8) is assigned a wall region which delimits the wind box (4) in relation to the surrounding atmosphere, and the preferably tiltably mounted impact bellows (6) is also provided with a spring (15) which is prestressed with the effect of increasing the volume of (expanding) the impact bellows (6). <IMAGE>
