PURPOSE:To accelerate the thermal deformation of a recording layer when a laser beam for recording is projected thereon and to improve recording sensitivity by providing a light transmittable trigger layer which melt, decomposes or sublimates at the temp. lower than the temp. of a recording film between a transfer layer and the recording film. CONSTITUTION:The light transmittable trigger layer 3 which melts, decomposes or sublimates at the temp. lower than the recording film 4 and has the thermal conductivity equal to or lower than the thermal conductivity of the transfer layer is provided between the transfer layer 2 and recording film 4 for signal patterns of the optical information recording medium having a glass substrate 1 and recording film 4 on which the desired signal patterns are transferred. This trigger layer 3 is more advantageous for improvement of recording sensitivity as the thermal conductivity is lower. The thermal deformation of the recording film is thus accelerated by the thermal deformation of the underlying layer and the optical information recording medium having the high recording sensitivity is obtd. |
