PURPOSE:To display each image of devices on one and the same screen by displaying, for instance, an image photographed by an X-ray device and adjusting a data sample pitch in one direction or the other direction or both directions of an ultrasonic flaw detector in accordance with its aspect ratio. CONSTITUTION:The image shown in a figure (a) is an X-ray image AX displayed on a TV by photographing a prescribed area on an IC block which is to be brought to flaw detection by an ultrasonic wave, by an X-ray device, and it is assumed that the numbers of picture elements in respective vertical and horizontal direction of the image AX are temporarily 80 and 100 dots. Subsequently, the same area as the foregoing is scanned by an ultrasonic flaw detector, and its ultrasonic image AU1 (figure b) is displayed on the TV. The number of dots of this image AU1 is supposed to be 60X150. In such a way, a command is outputted to a frequency divider through the keyboard of a CPU so that the number of dots in the horizontal direction of the image AU1 is allowed to coincide with the number of dots in the horizontal direction of the image AX, and an ultrasonic image AU2 (figure c) is generated. Subsequently, an ultrasonic image AU3 (figure d) is generated so that the number of picture elements in the vertical direction of the image AU2 is allowed to coincide with the number of picture elements in the vertical direction of the image AX in the same way. Accordingly, the image AU3 becomes an image whose aspect ratio is equal to that of the image AX, and a composite display can be realized on one monitor TV. |
