The invention describes a glass fibre reinforced composition, consisting of a settable mix of plaster, a water-based phenol formaldehyde resin, an acid hardener and a reinforcement of glass fibres. Preferred formulations of the composition are described and the invention also describes methods by which the composition of the invention is produced. The composition produces a product having enhanced safety features and mechanical qualities, capable of meeting stringent constructional and safety standards at advantageous costs and with simplified techniques. |
