<p>PURPOSE: To cut off an upper layer without scratching a lower layer even when it is soft by providing a rotary blade on the upper side of the blade tip of a fixed blade with respect to a removed cover. CONSTITUTION: In the case of cutting off the layer 4 of kelvar, a blade tip 17 of a fixed blade 2 is placed in a plane of passing an axis 18 of rotation of rotary blade 1 and the axis 19 of a cable 3. A cut-off space 6 is formed in the blade face of a blade 14 within the cutting range of the cutting edge 5 of the fixed blade 2, and at the point of time the tip of the blade 14 is brought into contact with the blade tip 17 of the fixed blade 2, and next the rotary blade 1 is rotated and the contact point goes away from the blade tip 17 along the cutting edge 5 of the fixed blade 2. The tip of the side 16 of the fixed blade 2 which stays on the opposite side to the cutting edge 5 makes a pressing surface 7, and the soft layer of an elastic body under the layer 4 of kelvar to be cut off is slightly pushed in the direction of the axis 19 of the cable 3, so that the cutting edge 5 of the fixed blade 2 bites into the lower side of the layer 4. Therefore, the whole of the fiber of the layer 4 is surely held and cut off.</p> |
