COLLECTOR FOR THE CONDENSATE ORIGINATING FROM THE EVAPORATOR OF A VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONING APPARATUS

A motor vehicle with air conditioning system has a collector for the condensate forming on the evaporator. This collector and the condensate which it contains is thermally connected to media or parts of the vehicle to be cooled. In this way the refrigeration energy of the condensate is utilised for cooling purposes. In addition, the fuel return line, for example, can be led through the collector. Alternatively heating pipes are immersed in the condensate water level of the collector or this condensate is led to the components to be cooled for the purpose of evaporation on the surface of the components.
