PURPOSE:To obtain a press molding device which is can shorten molding time with high accuracy by a method wherein an upper slide is lowered by a molding cylinder of high output and a long stroke, pressed against an adjustable stoppers and a lower slide is pushed up by a pressure cylinder of smaller output and shorter stroke than those of the upper slide. CONSTITUTION:A crown 2 and bed 3 are connected with four corner parts through a tie rod 4 and an upper slide 5 is fitted over the tie rod ascendingly and descendingly. The upper slide 5 is made slidable along the tie rod 4 by a pair of hydraulic moving cylinders 7 of high output and a long stroke, which are stuck close to a crown 2 part. On the other hand, a pressure cylinder 14 of a large diameter, large output and a short stroke is laid under the lower slide 6 fitted to a bed 3 part under a state where balance holding is possible in axis symmetry. The top parts of the pressure cylinders 14 are laid respectively on the lower slide 6 ad the lower slide 6 is made ascendable and descendable at a short stroke. Then the upper slide 5 is stopped by a stopper 9 by lowering the upper slide 5 at a high speed and then the lower slide 6 is raised. With this construction, press molding can be performed at favorable accuracy. |
