PURPOSE:To increase the passing-through force of an injecting fuel and enable same to smoothly reach a target position by setting the total sectional area of a plurality of orifices in one cylinder in such a way that the flow passage area thereof is the smallest in a flow passage system at the full-open time of a valve. CONSTITUTION:An orifice body 11 is provided on the opening of an injection side end portion of an injection valve body 1. A plurality of orifices 12 for distributingly injecting fuel to a plurality of intake valves in one cylinder are provided in the orifice body 11. In this case, the area of each orifice 12 is set in such a way that, at the full-open time of the injection valve body 1, the total A2 of the sectional areas of the orifices 12 is smaller than the maximum value A1 of an annular gap area formed by a valve 6 and a valve seat 10. The total A2 of the sectional areas of the orifices 12 is also set to be smaller than the area A3 of a cylindrical flow passage 13 on the lower course side of the valve 6. The orifices 12 are formed in the same diameters over the whole lengths. |
