The method for solubilizing bovine N-methionyl somatotropin (MBS) expressed in E. coli is presented. Thus, the obtained cells are disrupted in homogenizer and centrifugated. The pellets containing MBS are harvested. The pellets containing MBS are mixed with 4.5M urea aqueous solution and diluted to 0.6 mg/ml. The pH of the mixture is adjusted to 7-11 with NaOH.
