PURPOSE:To prevent generation of interference fringe-type unequal densities (moires) and to obtain a high-quality image by providing a light scattering layer incorporated with a binder material and titanium oxide which is not subjected to a conducting treatment between a carrier generating layer and conductive base body. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body having the light scattering layer 7 provided between the carrier generating layer 6 and the conductive base body 1 and incorporated with the binder material and the titanium oxide which is not subjected to the conducting treatment is electrostatically charged and is then irradiated with laser light, by which an electrostatic latent image is formed thereon in the image forming method using the photosensitive body having the photosensitive layer 8 provided with a carrier transfer layer 4 on the carrier generating layer 6. Namely, the light entering the inside of the light scattering layer is scattered by the dispersion state of the titanium oxide and the phases of the exit light from the photosensitive layer 8 are not longer unified so that interferences are no longer generated. The moires are thereby prevented and the high-quality image having the uniform density is formed. |
