The assembly system for a tensioned ceiling, made e.g. from a vinyl-coated fabric, consists of a metal strip 85) which is fixed to opposite walls and is equipped with horizontal (6) and angled (7) sides and an inner edge to hold the arrowhead anchor elements (11) along the edges of the ceiling fabric (16). The anchor elements are fitted into place the metal strips by means of a special tool (3) which has a handle and curved blade. The flat end of the blade is used to push the anchoring elements inside the strip, where they engage with the inner edge and retain the fabric in palce as the blade is withdrawn. ADVANTAGE - Improved assembly, with all fixing concealed.
