PURPOSE:To prevent the oxidation-deterioration during a manufacturing process or during use by a method wherein an inorganic coating is applied to magnetic pulverized body of an intermetallic compound or, after a mixture of said pulverized body and a synthetic resin has been formed, the inorganic coating is applied to the surface. CONSTITUTION:A film is formed by applying a coating of an inorganic substance to a magnetic pulverized body of an intermetallic compound which is composed mainly of a rare-earth metal expressed by R-Fe-B and of a transition metal. Then, a bonding agent of a synthetic resin mixed with it; the mixture is compressed and molded; a molded body is hardened. As as alternative method, the synthetic resin as the bonding agent is added to the magnetic pulverized body of the intermetallic compound which is composed mainly of the rare-earth metal expressed by R-Fe-B and of the transition metal; after that, the mixture is molded and hardened; the coating of the inorganic substance is applied to a molded body; the film is formed on the surface of the molded body. |
