A flow regulating valve comprises a resilient disc 2 up stream of a rigid perforated plate 1 provided with projections 6 which space the disc from the plate. In operation, variations in the fluid pressure exerted on the disc deform it so that it alters the effective flow cross-section sufficiently to maintain a constant flow rate. In a modification (Figs. 3 and 4, not shown) the plate has two sets of projections (18 and 19) of different heights. |
