The invention relates to an apparatus for reclaiming bulk material stacked on a heap, containing a scraper conveyor and deflector elements which are arranged along the scraper conveyor in an accumulation zone at the foot of the heap and which prevent or limit movement, in the conveying direction of the scraper conveyor, of the material located in the accumulation zone. Such an apparatus ensures that the bulk material is introduced into the scraper conveyor in a manner which is particularly gentle on the grains.
