<p>PURPOSE:To save power consumption by detecting whether or not an input means, a processing means or an output means is driven, by a detecting means and stopping a power source supply based on the detection contents by a stopping means. CONSTITUTION:A data processing means (b) processes respective types of data inputted by an input means (a) and an output means (c) outputs the data processed by the processing means (b) by displaying, printing and so forth. Concerning the input means (a), the processing means (b) and the output means (c), a detecting means (d) detects whether or not these are driven, a stopping means (e) while it is detected that these are not driven, by the detecting means (d), stops the power source supply for the input means (a), the processing means (b) or the output means (c) in which it is detected that these are not driven. Thus, the power consumption can be saved.</p> |
