PURPOSE:To provide favorable recording sensitivity and make it possible to form an image with clear tones and little color mixing or bleeding, by specifying the total amount of a pigment component and an adhesive component contained in a high-temperature color forming layer. CONSTITUTION:At least a high-temperature color forming layer, an intermediate layer comprising a decoloring agent and a low-temperature color forming layer are sequentially provided on a base. Each of the color forming layers is a leuco color forming layer comprising a leuco dye and a color reaction agent, and the total amount of a pigment component and an adhesive component contained in the high-temperature color forming layer is at least 50wt.%. It is preferable that an acid substance is used in each of the color forming layers in an amount of about 1-50 pts.wt. per 1 pt.wt. of a basic colorless dye. Further, when the high-temperature color forming layer comprises at least 40wt.% of the pigment component, preparation of a coating liquid for forming the layer is facilitated, and favorable application properties can be obtained. |
