<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a vest, wearable as an upper garment or even in the open air, by cutting an 'OBI' (belt) to a length of clothes perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction, cutting a part to be the front body part half in the longitudinal direction and sewing the above-mentioned part with the back body part at the shoulder parts. CONSTITUTION:A part of picture patterns 3 in an 'OBI' is cut to the length of clothes and then cut in the longitudinal direction half to form a gorge 4. Corner parts are obliquely cut to provide a front body part 2. A plain 'OBI' is cut to the length of clothes and the neck part is cut to afford a back body part 5. The front and back body parts 2 and 5 are sewn together at the shoulder parts and loops 8 are mounted on both sides. Decorative strings 9 are passed through and tightened or loosened to adjust the resultant vest to a body form.</p> |
