PURPOSE:To reduce processes for welding electrode plates with each other by bending an electrode plate of one pole into U form at a core exposed part, holding an electrode plate of the other pole through a separator, and contacting the core exposed part with a metal cell. CONSTITUTION:A cathode plate 1 is bent into U form at a core exposed part 1a. Then an anode plate 3 surrounded by a separater 2 is inserted between the cathode plate 1 to compose an electrode body 4. A conductive tab of the anode plate 3 is then welded. This conductive tab 3a is electrically connected with an external terminal. Thus obtained electrode body 4 is inserted into a metal cell 5, so the exposed part 1a contacts an inner bottom surface 5a of the cell 5. Mis-positioning of the electrode plates is thus eliminated, and processes for welding the conductive tab can be reduced. |
