PURPOSE: To realize high-resolution processing without causing any streak of developer by combining a doner member with an element to be toner-developed so that they are mutually actuated and preventing them from being relatively moved in a developing area in the midst of a developing time. CONSTITUTION: A toner layer is formed on the surface of the doner member 22 being a rotating belt 22 by electrostatic attraction generated by a DC voltage existing between the surface of an electrical conductive member 16 covered with magnetic carrier grains and toner grains electrostatically charged by friction and the surface of the doner member. By the carrier grains, the electrical conductive member 16 is attracted by magnetic force for forming the magnetic brush of the magnetic carrier grains to which the tone grains are electrostatically stuck on the electrical conductive member 16. Besides, the doner member 22 is combined with the element 27 which should be toner- developed so that they are mutually actuated and they are not relatively moved in the developing area in the midst of the developing time. Thus, an excellent fully developed area combined with an image background obtained by eliminating a developing brush stripe and optical density are obtained. |
