This electrical supply delivers several DC polarising voltages +V, V', V''. It includes a transformer 10 with a primary winding 11 energised by the mains and secondary windings 13, 14, 15 followed by rectifiers 40, 41, 42 and by voltage regulators 50, 55, 56, a mains cutoff device 20 placed ahead of the transformer 10, a battery 60 arranged as a buffer following an arrestable voltage regulator 50, an activatable inverter 70 which is supplied by the battery 60 and which energises an auxiliary primary winding 16 of the transformer 10, and a device for monitoring the mains voltage 10 which, in the event of a drop in or the absence of the mains voltage, triggers the opening of the cutout device 20 simultaneously with the arresting of the arrestable voltage regulator 50 and the activating of the inverter 70. <IMAGE>
