<p>PURPOSE:To improve the storage stability of a recording fluid, to increase the density of a recorded image and to improve its water resistance and light resistance, by forming said recording fluid by using a specified dye mixture and a solvent. CONSTITUTION:This recording fluid (brownish black) contains a mixture of dyes of formula I, II and III and a solvent. In formula I, M is an alkali metal or an ammonium or amine salt. In formula II, X is a lower alkylcarbonyl group, a lower alkoxycarbonyl group, a lower alkylsulfonyl group, an arylsulfonyl group, a diaminotriazinyl group, or a -CONH2 group, m and n are each 0 or 1, provided that m+n=1, and M is an alkali metal or an ammonium or amine salt. In formula III, X<1> and X<2> are each the same as X defined in formula II, and M is as defined in formulas I and II. Said dyes of formulas I-III are contained in the recording fluid in such a ratio that [I], [II] and [III] are about 20-50wt.%, about 40-60wt.% and about 20-50wt.% based on the total weight of the recording fluid, respectively.</p> |
