<p>PURPOSE:To improve the storage stability of a recording fluid, to increase the density of a recorded image and to improve its water resistance and light resistance, by forming said recording fluid by using a specified dye mixture and a solvent. CONSTITUTION:This recording fluid (magenta) contains a mixture of dyes of formulas I, II and III and a solvent. In formula I, X is a chlorine atom, an OH group, an NH2 group, a lower alkylamine group, a hydroxy-lower- alkylamino group, M is an alkali metal or an ammonium or amine salt. In formulas II and III, X is as defined in formula I. Said dyes of formulas I-III are contained in the recording fluid in such a ratio that [I], [II] and [III] are about 10-40wt.%, about 30-50wt.% and about 30-50wt.% based on the total weight of the recording fluid, respectively. Said solvent preferably contains a water-soluble organic solvent such as ethylene glycol, propylene glycol or glycerol in addition to water.</p> |
