<p>PURPOSE:To improve the storage stability of a recording fluid, to increase the density of a recorded image and to improve its water resistance and light resistance, by forming said recording fluid by using a dye represented by a specified structural formula and an aqueous medium. CONSTITUTION:This recording fluid contains an aqueous medium and at least one dye (greenish black) represented by formula I (wherein R is a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group or a hydroxy-lower-alkyl group, X is a CN group, a CONH2 group or a COOM group, and M is an alkali metal or an ammonium or amine salt). Said dye of formula I is added in an amount of about 0.5-10wt.% based on the total weight of the recording fluid.</p> |
