PURPOSE:To tighten a superconducting coil fast by a uniform force and to simplify an operation, by utilizing a difference in thermal expansion between a ring and a spool to fix the superconducting coil. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting wire 2 is wound on a spool 1 with a prescribed tension. A ring 3 made to have a prescribed temperature difference from the spool 1 is fitted into the spool 1 in a state wherein the outside diameter of the ring turns smaller than the inside diameter of the spool 1. A projecting part 1a of the spool 1 is made to engage with an indent 3a of the ring 3. In a process wherein the temperatures of the spool 1 and the ring 3 turn to be a prescribed degree from said state, the ring 3 gives the spool 1 a uniform force in the direction of the outside diameter, so as to tighten the wound superconducting wire 2 firmly. Thereby a superconducting coil is tighten fast by the uniform force and an operation is simplified. |
