PURPOSE:To enable the preparation of transplantation seedling having effectively protected sprout and high rooting ratio, in high efficiency, by providing a seedling setting part at the starting end of a transfer means and setting a transplantation seedling to both sides interposing the transfer means therebetween. CONSTITUTION:Rush seedlings P collected into a transplantation unit, having a sprout and picked from a seedling strain are set in a manner to span between transfer pans 12, 12a. The setting part is elongated at both sides of a transfer chain 11 from the transfer-starting end to the middle part of the chain. A means for forming a seedling strip is placed at the rear end part of the transfer path relative to the setting position of the transfer chain 11. The upper and lower tacky adhesive tapes 15 are taken out via a tension roller 16 and bonded together facing the tacky adhesive faces with each other between the opposite faces of the upper and lower pressing rollers 13. The obtained integrated tape is passed through a feed roller 14, wound around a winding drum 17 placed on a base frame 1a and collected. |
