PURPOSE:To efficiently peel soybeans, by heating soybeans from the outside and inside of a rotary pot by using the rotary pot into which hot air is uniformly sent and applying mechanical stress to the soybeans. CONSTITUTION:A rotary pot 1 is set rotatably by a driving device in a heating chamber 2 and heated by a burner 3 attached to the lower part of the heating chamber 2. Treated soybeans are continuously fed from a soybean hopper 4 to the rotary pot 1 and heat-treated while being guided by spiral fins 8 in the rotary pot 1 and gradually advanced toward an exit 5. Air heated by a burner 3 in a heating chamber 2 is partially discharged from an exhaust vent 6 to the outside as an exhaust gas and the rest is passed through a circulation line 7 and returned to the rotary pot 1. Plural exits (a...n) of the line 7 are set in the rotary pot 1 in order to uniformly heat soybeans so that soybeans can be uniformly heated. The heated soybeans are separated into cotyledons and skins by an ordinary means such as applying mechanical stress by rollers and peeled soybeans are obtained by air selection. |
