<p>PURPOSE:To enable a running speed to be kept constant at any portion of a fixed passage by setting driving wheels only on one side out of running wheels arranged on front/rear and right/left sides of an in-site carriage and detecting curve indicating magnets on the rail sides so as to make driving control of the driving wheels. CONSTITUTION:Wheels for running on rails 1 are installed on front/rear and right/left sides of an in-site carriage 41 having a cargo deck on its upper surface, and driving wheels 43 driven by their own driving units 50 are installed only on one side and other wheels are rendered free wheels 44. Each wheel is set freely rotatable around each of longitudinal axes 49, 64 in relation to a carriage body 42. The curved admission portions of rails 1 are provided with either a right-hand curve indication magnet 73 or a left-hand curve indicating magnet 74, to be detected by a sensor 68 set on the carriage side, and the number of revolutions of the driving wheels may be controlled depending upon the kind of curve, namely to be smaller in the case of a right-hand curve and larger in the case of a left-hand curve, thus enabling smooth running to be carried out without changing the speed of the carriage during its running on a curve.</p> |
