PURPOSE:To improve color reproducibility of a silver halide photographic sensitive material and to improve preservability of picture image provided by the material, and to obtain a high maximum density of the picture image by incorporating a specified non-color developable compd., a specified compd., and a specified cyan coupler into a compsn. of the material. CONSTITUTION:A non-color developable compd. expressed by formula I, a compd. expressed by formula II, and at least one kind of cyan coupler selected from cyan couplers expressed by formulas III and IV, are incorporated into at least one layer of silver halide emulsion layers. In formulas I-IV, each R1-R4 is an H atom., alkyl group, etc.; each R5 and R6 is a 3-15C alkyl group; each (m) and (n) is an integer 0-4; R7 is an alkyl group, etc.; R8 is an alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, etc.; R9 is an H atom., etc.; R9 may form a ring in combination with R7; Z1 is a group which can be eliminated by the reaction with an H atom., etc.; R10 is a ballast group; R11 is a 1-6C alkyl group; Z2 is a group which can be eliminated by the reaction with an H atom., etc. Thus, a silver halide photographic sensitive material having high color reproducibility, forming a dye picture image having high preservability, and having a high maximum density is obtd. |
