The bracelet clasp includes first and second elements 1, 2 which can be superposed on each other. A strand 5 of a bracelet is attached to each of the elements.
<??>The first element 1 includes a U-shaped piece 6 arranged in order to interact with a tongue including a push-button 9, the said tongue being mounted resiliently and capable of sliding inside a cavity 8 made in the second element 2 in order to lock the first and second elements on each other. One of the ends of the U-shaped piece comprises a nose 10 bent away from the U, this nose being inserted in an orifice made in the second element in order to support the pulling force exerted on the clasp when the latter is locked.
