PURPOSE:To simplify means for photoelectrically delivering a signal and to reduce in size by forming a substrate on which a plurality of integrated circuit structures are installed as a waveguide plate, and disposing signal output light emitting elements and signal input photodetectors in the plate. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 1 is formed of a waveguide plate 4, and the plate 4 is formed of a transfer path necessary to photoelectrically deliver a signal between one of a plurality of integrated circuit structures B1, B2... and the other of them. The path is extended between a light emitting element for the signal output of one of the structures B1, B2... and a light emitting element for a signal input of the other of the structures. Accordingly, the path is not necessarily provided separately except in the substrate 1, and means for photoelectrically delivering the signal is simplified, and reduced in size. |
